Hobbizer.com is a new Parisian Web Site which was created by Fanny Semiao in 2016. For the moment, it is only available in the City of Light but it has the ambition to expand its market worldwide.

With this online planning service, with just a few clicks you can create your own customized Road Book in the places you want to visit.

You can organize your journey by selecting activities preselected by Parisian experts in searching unusual and unique places. You will not be disappointed!

How does it work? It is very easy: Hobbizer checks for you the avalibilty of the activities you have selected and the website suggests you other services to make your stay easier (priority access ticket, research for your restaurant or hotel, transfers…)

After selecting your activities and accommodation, Hobbizer creates for you a tailor-made Road Book to enjoy all the parisian activities without any stress ! It gives you the map, useful informations and good plans ! The Hobb’users will just have to let themselves be guided by their personalized Road Book, there is no services charge, you only have to pay for the activities! It is an easy way to design your own trip with activities found by locals and with a support equal to a travel agency.

The aim of Hobbizer is to change the travel agency market that could not adapt itself to the new trends and technologies. It wants to offer a new service that can answer to the new tourists’ demands.

Hobbizer.com is, for the moment, focused on the French capital; this market is really interesting because of the number of tourists coming every year in the city. Indeed, every year, Paris is welcoming 45 million visitors.

What do we think about it ? 

As the world is more and more connected and because the tourism industry is trying to follow this new technology trend, what better way to launch a customized way to organize your own trip? This website is really adapted to people’s needs and the trend related to guides while on a trip (eg many apps about any touristic city about places to visit, metro map, etc). But at the same time it is another threat that travel agencies are facing (they are already suffering the massive huge of internet for trips bookings). Older people who don’t really search information on the internet may still ask services to travel agencies but younger people may use more and more services like Hobizzer so this is a real threat for traditional travel agencies.
