Mainly,
Worldia is a travel agency created in 2013. It uses an online platform by which
it proposes to its clients to plan a completely personalized trip without
having to meet with your travel agent. This platform offers several types of
travel and journey. The customer can choose most of the details according to
its needs or expectations. In order to propose the best solutions to its
customers, Worldia is endlessly in search of expert as partners, such as
guides, hotels.
The
idea came from the founders who realized that organising holidays is difficult
from the destination decision to the activities during the journey. Moreover,
the biggest problems planning a trip is to find the good information o the
Internet and/or having to meet with travel agent every time you have to solve a
problem or arrange detail. Thanks to Worldia, travellers have one interlocutor
or source of information and do not have the annoyance of meetings.
This new tool is mostly dedicated to:
- Newlyweds or young couple that search comfort when planning their trip
- Families with children in order to find adapted hotels and activities
- Older persons who are used to travel agencies but prefer not to have to meet for every step on their
organisation
ArtWorldia proposes a
large choices of services in different structures: a blog, an Application and a
website. In their blog, we can find a travel column to give some good deals to
travel and to find the best places. The blog allow also to know the new
acronym, logo labels and the shade parts of the tourism in a total
transparency. But, the best IT originality of Worldia is the complete
personalisation of customers’ travels. The website is completely interactive,
you can choose, you can add and modify all the travels. This is easy and quick
and very cheap. This is a new kind of travel agency, more affordable and
younger. The App allows a complete follow up during the trip and increase the
permanent interactivity between customers, guides & Worldia’s team. The
Team use the open sources and Symfony2 to stay at the top and completely
free. Worldia is also present in the
start-up specialized websites to promote and develop their company.
Moreover,
this complete transparency can be a long term problem with bad comments, with
the no filter policy. In the other hand, this freedom allow the company to
improve their services but also allow customers to see problems, to be aware
and to stay attentive. The higher problems are during the trip, like additional
costs or bad guide. This other problem of this platform is the lack of
partnership. For now, it is a little start up, based online without big
contacts but this characteristic is also their strength. Worldia proposes a new
kind of tourism, free, out of touristic ways and with hidden secret.
