Our computers, smartphones and tablets have quickly become part of our daily life. Those devices are constantly retrieving emails or updates from the Internet…, which can be very costly while travelling abroad. Two choices remain for travellers: switch of their device and staying disconnected from any information or keep their device on and getting afraid of ridiculously high bills once back home. What’s a choice to make, especially when you need to stay reachable even abroad! Well, it seems that a third choice is now offered to travellers: ordering a TripButler devise!

What is TripButler?

It is a small wifi hotspot that can be carried out everywhere. It uses local mobile carrier partner to cut roaming bills. Hold it in your pocket or in your bag, connect your device to TripButler and enjoy surfing the Internet. You can connect up to five devices at a time. TripButler will help you save a lot of money: for instance, rent it in Germany for 1 month and it will cost you only 2€ day (3GB data included) or in other European Union countries for two weeks and it will cost you 5€/day (700 MO data included). In comparison, most of international pass are much more expensive: for instance for Orange (French telephone operator) the International Pass for 15 min of communication, 10 sms and 2 MO is 5€, which is much more costly. And do not forget that with TripButler, you can even split the bill with your friends! TripButler is available in the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Island, Finlande, France, Frencg Guyana, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, UK, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Guernesey, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, La Reunion, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lituania, Luxembourg, Malta, Martinique, Netherland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Spain.
@ The bloggers’ opinion: What choice did you make for your Smartphones, tablets or computers during our ITB trip to Berlin? Now that you have received your March invoice, would you have chosen the TripButler device if you had the possibility?

·     Rent it in less than 3 minutes! Before even travelling, you can order a device online for your trip and have it delivered to your home or your hotel so it is ready to use once you arrive.  The cost of delivery is about 7€. The website does mention a required deposit of 75€ that is refunded if the unit is returned undamaged.
·     Use it! Just turn it on and enjoy being connected. You can use the wifi up to 5 devices at once! It allows you to share the price into 5. The connection speed is up to 7.2mbit/sec!
·     Send it back! When you return from your holidays, send the device back in the envelope provided at any post box. For privacy issues, the personal data will be removed from the device.
@ The bloggers’ opinion: The order process is very simple and quick: rent, use and send back. Only negative point, this device can be rented out only in selected countries: hope the concept will be spread all around the World soon. Would you use it for your next trip?

The bloggers’ opinion: What a great technology. Very small, it can be carried out everywhere and the fact that several devices can be connected to it is very clever and cost saving oriented. Even if that device is very useful, do not forget to enjoy fully your holidays when you are abroad and do not stay stick to your computer, smartphone or tablet!
