Translation in tourism

Translation is a new challenge for tourism professionals. Everything on the internet has to be translated in all languages possible to reach all the different markets.

The Massive translation of website is a new challenge for hoteliers, especially during the high season and also low season. A new contract was made by ACCOR Group to promote the devices and configure an easy access to customer, thanks to Vivek Badrinath. This former innovative marketer for Orange is now employed by ACCOR Group to enlarge a new vision for the future of the tourism bookings: mobile phones should contribute until 30% of the total sales made on the internet (including different types of devices: tablets, mobile phones, PCs, etc…). Focused on the development of applications, this new strategy of tapping different segment of the tourism market will open new frontier of promoting a destination and having all the information linked to what the customer need in all languages.

Major players involved in the tourism industries, and especially those that are taking more parts of the markets: OTAs “Online Travel Agencies” are becoming the best intermediary on the web to promote accommodation sites. The example of Booking.com shows the relevancy of web agencies to promote hotels’ sites, “more than 425,000 accommodations sold across 25 different” devices.  Nowadays, hoteliers have to be present on the web and across all countries to tackle all markets interested into one or another destination. Moreover, the translation process is a stating point that needs to be over evaluated to boost hotels ‘sales and attractiveness thanks to devices used.

To answer all those translation problems, new software has been made for the hospitality and tourism industry but more than that for all kind of international businesses.
Translate your world International or TYWI is a software able to translate in 78 different languages.

For managers and staff in hotels for example it would be so much easier to welcome customers from the entire world and make them feel safer and happier. For international businesses it will also help expand and make new partners. For exhibitions and fairs the translations will make things easier for everyone. Communication will be positively increased.
Big companies are already using it like Coca Cola, NASA and many others. It allows so many possibilities for professionals.
It is available on all devices and is a partner with Google, Microsoft, Apple and all big actors in the sector lf automatics.

To conclude, translation is a challenge for the tourism industry and technologies like TYWI will felicitate everything for businesses and for customers or travelers. Anyway will it be able to translate perfectly and let people have a feeling of being understood everywhere?
